The Enrichment Session, "Give a little more love this Christmas", was organised by the English Access Microscholarship Program - Georgia/Rustavi, SIQA on December 23, 2013. It's been a second day of giving love and sharing some Christmas spirit around. The session took its beginning during the workshop on December 19, when the students have had created colorful Christmas cards. On the session they have decided to give those wonderful cards to the people from the neighborhood. Some of them were confused, but mostly they were happy to have it :) Hope it touched their hearts and brought some Christmas spirit into the daily routines!
The session of the second day has started by the presentation about Christmas traditions in the USA, made by the US Peace Corps volunteer. After that, the students have had a lesson, conducted by the Access English Language Teacher, that was based on the Christmas commercial video. The learners were able to develop their creative thinking by answering Before/During/After questions and practiced narrative tenses, prepositions and vocabulary related to Christmas.
And, of course, the session was a full package of fun with Christmas carols and songs karaoke! Even Santa (the US PC volunteer) came to greet our Access family with presents.
