After "Tsutsaoba Party"

On the 15th of July 2014 in Rustavi's Park, SIQA'a team organized refreshing party " Tsutsaoba". Up to 70 participants had funny experience by taking part in games and activities.  The winners were awarded with prizes SIQA activities and for all the main prize was cooling feeling in the hot summer day :)

Wear collourful clothes and bring bottles for water it so going to be water fight :)

Warm welcome of new volunteers

On the 8th of July 2014, in the Siqa's office was volunteers meeting. Previous and current volunteers together with Siqa staff welcome new EVS volunteers Figen and Mihriban form Turkey.

It was good time for exchange experience and make plan for future activity. 

Race for the cure

SIQA 's volunteers have joined a charity event "Race for the cure"  on the 29th of June in the aera of Turtle Lake in Tbilisi. The race was organized by the Women's Health and Welfare Association "Hera", U.S. Agency for International Development program and Susan G. Komen Foundation. The run goal was to raise public awareness about breast cancer and early detection services promotion. The event was held within 2 and 5 km distance.

SIQA's team need your votes !

SIKA - The team takes part in the competition, which goal is to get resources for the Summer Media School.
It will be given chance and support children with social and digital competence.
Victory in the contest  is according to number of votes.

Access Sumer School !

From 30th of June till 4th of July 2014 took place English Access Microscholarship Program Summer School, held in the English language. During that time students were participating in exciting trainings and workshops.

Active part in the Summer School had volunteers : Peace Corps and EVS.

On the last day participants had chance to rest in the nature and learn useful things during Survival Course in Borjomi National Park. They had 9 kiloeter- long triail through the woods, instructions on how to survive in the wilderness, basic tips on firs aid., safe way of setting fire  and making simple meal and setting a tent. Student spent time collaborating with each other and developing team building skills, and also had opportunity to speak with English speaking instructor and practice their English in real live situation.

Week without plastic bags

SIQA is one of the organizers of the action "One week without plastic bags" and encourage you to join it.

From June 16 until June 22 try not to take extra plastic bags for everything you buy. You can use plastic bags, which have been already purchased, but please do not purchase a new one.
