International Women’s Day : Upside down

During International Women’s Day volunteers form SIQA and GYE ( Georgian Youth for Europe) have organized small happening with topic: “Upside down”. The goal of the happening was taking attention of pedestrians to the stereotyped roles of women and men, played by opposite actors. For example: man was taking care for baby while a woman was driving a car, girls were playing cards, when boy was bringing them tea and cleaning around.

By the funny and exaggerated sketches participants wanted to make people think about gender equality and roles of men and women in Georgian society. Either volunteers and passing people had nice time and hopefully moment for some reflection.
